A trekking trip in central parts of southern India, these actually near to a famous hill station Ooty, those who have been to south India would have definitly heard about this place. Its feels like heaven here away from city's pollution and noise. There are many beautiful old mansions and bungalows which have been now transformed into hotels and resorts, the food and accomodation is damn cheap. This is really worth a vacation. More pics coming over.... :-)

Beautiful pictures!
So nice to see a blogger from India!
My husband is Bengali, but he was brought up mostly in Bombay and Baroda.
We got engaged in a cave (Shiva Temple) near Dehradun, and we got married in Lucknow.
I am going to post (or rather my daughter is on her blog) our vacation pics from our trip last year - she did a power point for school. But my pics pale in comparison.
I've been to Chennai, Kolkatta,Delhi, Bombay, Goa, Nainital,Rishikesh and Dehra Dun (sp?).
I want to really get in shape and trek in Nepal and Kashmir (but things are a bit dicey there still...).
Take care and love your blog,
Sue
